Business Development

We have been focused on improving our contacts in the different industries where our technology can play a key role. We have attended a series of workshops and events throughout the year, and have expanded our network to bring on board new experts and mentors that are advising the different areas of the business. A large range of companies and contacts have been in touch in order to find out more about our technology and how our unique microfiltration ceramic filters may fit their workflow – this is in the workflow, and we are working hard to make sure we can deliver on our main motto “innovation to improve quality of life”.

We have created our Branding Guidelines, towards standardizing our key message and design, towards better communicating our message. We welcome you to have a look at the file in the link, which was created by our Designer Hypno.studio.

Here is a shortlist of some of the places we have been during the year of 2017:

  • We had a stand at the Rushlight Awards, in which we were awarded two accolades and presented our technology, in London. You can have a look at our flyer and our poster there.
  • We have showcased a poster presentation at the Royal Society of Chemistry Awards in Manchester
  • We showcased our technology at the Advanced Engineering Show 2017, which was held at the NEC in Birmingham. Source here.
  • Recently, we were awarded a European Regional Development Fund by the European Commission, in collaboration with Lancaster University, for a funded PhD student. Tomas Pereira, a Chemistry student from Portugal, was chosen for this 3-year project, entitled “Novel electrochemical methods for the production of cleaning agents to use in air purification”. Finally, we would like to introduce you to our Octopus Strategy. This represents our business model, and the areas of application for our technology.
